Sharing Your Links

Every creator gets two tools for driving tracked sales: a tracking link and a discount code. Here is how to use them. Your tracking link looks like:
https://brandstore.com?ref=YOURCODE
When someone clicks this link, a cookie is set in their browser. If they purchase within the attribution window (usually 30 days), the sale is attributed to you — even if they do not use your discount code. Copy your tracking link from the Dashboard in the Creator Portal.

Your Discount Code

Your discount code is a unique string like SARAH15 that gives customers a discount at checkout. When they use it, the sale is attributed to you with the highest confidence.

Auto-Discount Embed

You can combine your tracking link with your discount code using the discount parameter:
https://brandstore.com?ref=YOURCODE&discount=SARAH15
When a visitor clicks this link, the discount code is automatically applied to their cart. They do not need to remember or type the code manually. This increases conversion because there is zero friction.
Always use the auto-discount link when possible. It combines cookie tracking with automatic code application, giving you both backup attribution methods in one click.

Where to Share

Here are the most effective places to share your links:

Instagram

  • Bio link — put your tracking link in your Instagram bio
  • Stories — use the link sticker to add your tracking link
  • Reels — mention the discount code verbally and add it to the caption

TikTok

  • Bio link — add your tracking link to your TikTok bio
  • Video captions — include the discount code in your video description
  • Comments — pin a comment with your link and code

YouTube

  • Video description — add your tracking link in the description box
  • Pinned comment — pin a comment with the link and code
  • Cards and end screens — link to the brand’s store

Email and Newsletter

  • Dedicated email — send your audience a product recommendation with your link
  • Signature — add your discount code to your email signature

Other Channels

  • Twitter/X — share product links with your discount code
  • Blog posts — embed tracking links in product reviews
  • Discord/Slack communities — share when relevant (avoid spamming)

Best Practices

  1. Always disclose — follow FTC guidelines and clearly state that you earn a commission
  2. Be authentic — only promote products you genuinely use and recommend
  3. Show the product — demonstrate, unbox, or style the product in your content
  4. Create urgency — mention if the discount has an expiry date
