Set up your payout method and get paid

Payouts

Once your commissions are approved, you need a payout method set up to receive your earnings.

Payout Methods

You can choose from three payout methods in Settings > Payouts in the Creator Portal:

PayPal

The most common option for creators.

1. Go to Settings > Payouts

   Open the Creator Portal and navigate to Settings.

2. Select PayPal

   Click PayPal as your payout method.

3. Enter your PayPal email

   Enter the email address associated with your PayPal account. Make sure it matches exactly.

4. Confirm

   Save your settings. Payouts will be sent to this PayPal email when the brand runs a payout batch.

Stripe Connect

For direct bank deposits without needing a PayPal account.

1. Select Stripe Connect

   In Settings > Payouts, click Stripe Connect.

2. Complete Stripe onboarding

   You will be redirected to Stripe to enter your bank details, identity verification, and tax information. This is a one-time setup.

3. Return to Convertly

   After completing Stripe onboarding, you are redirected back. Your payout method is now active.

Stripe Connect deposits typically arrive in 2-3 business days after the brand initiates the payout.

Store Credit

Instead of cash, you can receive your earnings as store credit on the brand’s Shopify store. This is great if you are already a customer of the brand.

• Select Store Credit in Settings > Payouts
• When the brand runs a payout, credit is added to your customer account
• Use it on your next order — the credit applies automatically at checkout

Store credit has a lower minimum payout ($10 vs$25 for PayPal/Stripe).

Payout Schedule

Payouts are initiated by the brand, not on a fixed schedule. Most brands run payouts:

• Weekly — every Monday or Friday
• Bi-weekly — every other week
• Monthly — at the end of each month

You will receive an email notification when a payout is processed.

Minimum Payout Amounts

Method	Minimum
PayPal	$25
Stripe Connect	$25
Store Credit	$10

If your approved balance is below the minimum, it carries over to the next payout cycle.

Payout History

The Payouts tab in the Creator Portal shows a complete history of all your payouts:

• Date processed
• Amount
• Method used
• Status (processing, completed, failed)
• Which commissions were included

If a payout fails (e.g., incorrect PayPal email), the amount is returned to your approved balance and will be included in the next payout. Update your payout details in Settings to avoid repeated failures.
